#2 HIN BUS DEPOT ART CENTRE

The former depot of Hin Bus Company vehicles, the 20,000 sf premise is now a popular art exhibition space. Built in the 1940s, Hin Bus Depot Art Centre hosts a variety of events including cultural and arts exhibitions, film screenings, bazaars and workshops. #3 TEOCHEW PUPPET & OPERA HOUSE

Housed within one of the pre-war shophouses along Armenian Street, the Teochew Puppet & Opera House provides a rare glimpse into the fascinating world of Teochew puppetry and opera performance arts. The house showcases a wide collection of puppets, opera costumes and musical instruments, with a stage for scheduled performances.

#4 KHOO KONGSI

The Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi, or more commonly known as Khoo Kongsi is a large Chinese clan association located to the southwest of George Town. First established in 1850, Khoo Kongsi consists of a clanhouse, an administrative building, an opera stage, and 62 terrace houses and shophouses. The clanhouse, known as Leong San Tong, features one of the most elaborate and richly ornamented architecture in Malaysia.

#5 MADE IN PENANG INTERACTIVE MUSEUM + CLAN JETTY




Located along Weld Quay, George Town, the Made in Penang Interactive Museum houses a variety of attractions including wall paintings, miniatures, 3-dimensional trick art and interactive kiosks. Also within the vicinity of Weld Quay are the clan jetties, a traditional 19th century Chinese waterfront settlement comprising wooden houses on stilts.
